It’s time to put a line in the sand

And get after IT

In my previous post, I provided an update as to why I haven’t been producing new posts. That hasn’t changed. It’s mid-spring, I haven’t been afield, and I haven’t shot a single frame because of IT. IT has priority over my available free time.

My new mega-project at AIgitated is up and now has its first real contextual post as an introduction to why I consider it a critical foundational subject as the first item of community business.

If you are a photographer, you need to get involved. If you are someone who is using AI-generative tools to produce imagery, you need to read and understand this. Everyone needs to understand this.

The principles that initiated this project are going to become hotly debated and contested at social, business, legal, and government regulatory levels. All that has begun but is in rudimentary stages at this point. That will change.

I would appreciate it if you would take some time to become familiar with the issues involved.

The theft of my images to "train" AI, and the misrepresentation of AI "art" as "photography" has angered me. I intend to fight back. Join me at AIgitated.com
